1. This drawing collection is based on the MOHURD document No.[2016]89 Notification of Distributing the Working Plan of Compiling the
National Standard Design for Buildings in 2016.
2. This drawing collection is the national building standard design drawing collection for construction drawings of R.C. structures using
ichnographic representing method (IRM).
Ichnographic representing, in general, is to show dimensions and reinforcement details of structural members directly in the structural plan
layout according to rules of IRM. A completed set of structural construction drawings shall inchude both IRM drawings and standard
detailing drawings.
3. Main design references in this drawing collection are:

If the reference standards are revised or new standards areimplemented and the contents or products in this drawing collection are conflicted with them, such contents or products shown in this drawing collection shall be looked on as invalid Engineers who use this drawing collection shall check relevant contents in this drawing collection with updated standards.
4. There are two parts in this drawing collection: drawing rules of IRM, and standard detailing drawings of commonly used spread footings,
strip foundations, raft foundations (ribbed and slab) and pile foundations made of cast-in-situ concrete.
5. This drawing collection is applicable to the construction drawing design of all kinds of cast-in-situ concrete spread footings, strip
foundations, raft foundations (ribbed and slab) and pile foundations.
6. The rules specified in this drawing collection can be used for designers to generate ichnographic construction drawings or can be used
as reference for contractors and inspectors to understand and use ichnographic construction drawings correctly.
7. Details and other items which are not included in this drawing collection should be worked out by designers.
8. If modifications of the standard detailing drawings in this drawing collection are required for certain projects, designers should provide
specific modified contents.
9. Bars are shown as red lines in some parts of the standard detailing drawings of this drawing collection.
10. In this drawing collection, '0'is the diameter of steel bars, instead but not the steel grade.
11. All dimensions are in millimeters(mm), and structural levels are in meters(m).
16G101-3 Drawing Rules and Standard Detailing Drawings of Ichnographic Representing Method for Construction Drawings of R.C. Structures (Spread footings, strip foundations, raft foundations and pile foundations) is the revised version of 11G101-3 Drawing Rules and Standard Detailing Drawings of Ichnographic Representing Method for Construction Drawings of R.C. Structures (Spread footings, strip foundations, raft foundations and pile foundations). According to the updated versions of codes GB 18306-2015 Seismic ground motion parameters zonation map of China, GB 50011-2010 Code for seismic design of buildings and its partial revision in 2016 and GB 50010-2010 Code for design of concrete structures (2015 version) et al., considering feedbacks from engineering practice and need of practical projects in recent years, contents in the drawing collection have been systematically revised, and details of cast-in-place concrete piles are included in this version.
This drawing collection is applicable to the construction drawing design of all kinds of cast-in-situ concrete spread footings, strip foundations, raft foundations (ribbed and slab) and pile foundations.
There are two parts in this drawing collection: drawing rules of IRM and standard detailing drawings of commonly used spread footings, strip foundations, raft foundations (ribbed and slab) and pile foundations made of cast-in-situ concrete.
6 Rules of Ichnographic Construction Drawings of Pile Foundations
6.1 Representing method of ichnographi construction drawings of cast-in-place piles
6.1.1 The ichnographic construction drawing of cast-in-place piles is to show the pile details in foundation plan layout by using tabulated annotation method or ichnographie annotation method
6.1.2 Plan layout of cast-in-place piles may be shown separately at a proper scale, the setting out should be noted.
6.2 Tabulated annotation method
6.2.1 Tabulated annotation method is to show setting out of cast-in-place piles in the plan layout, and to show the pile number, dimensions of piles, longitudinal bars, spiral stirrups, top elevation of piles and characteristic value of the vertical bearing capacity of single pile in the table of piles.
6.2.2 Rules of annotation in the table of piles are listed below:
1. Pile number, which should consist of the type code and serial number. It should comply with the rules in Table 6.2.2.
16G101-1 Drawing Rules and Standard Detailing Drawings of Ichnographic Representing Method for Construction Drawings of R.C. Structures (Cast-in-situ R.C. frames, shear walls, beams and slabs) is the revised version of 11G101-1 Drawing Rules and Standard Detailing Drawings of Ichnographic Representing Method for Construction Drawings of R.C. Structures (Cast-in-situ R.C. frames, shear walls, beams and slabs). According to the updated versions of codes GB 18306-2015 Seismic Ground Motion Parameters Zonation Map of China, GB50011-2010 Code for Seismic Design of Buildings and its partial revision in 2016 and GB50010-2010 Code for Design of Concrete Structures (2015 version) et al., considering feedbacks from engineering practice and need of practical projects in recent years, contents in the drawing collection have been systematically revised, and details of frame flat beams are included in this version.
This drawing collection is applicable to construction drawing design of main structure in all kinds of cast-in-situ R.C. structures in seismic design with seismic precautionary intensity 6~9, such as frame structures, shear wall structures, frame-shear wall structures and partial frame-supported shear wall structures, and is also applicable to cast-in-situ R.C. slabs (with and without beams) as well as cast-in-situ R.C. walls, columns, beams and slabs of basement structures.
There are two parts in this drawing collection: drawing rules of IRM and standard detailing drawings of structural members above top of the foundation, such as cast-in-situ R.C columns, shear walls, beams and slabs (with or without beams).
