In the light of the construction characteristics,the selection of shield machine, tunneling design and construction are analyzed and discussed in this paper, some measures are put forward. The results of finite element analysis and field monitoring verify that the settlement control can meet the requirements of the normal airport operation, and the measure of tunneling design and construction are available. The thickness of the endplate and the ratio of the height to thickness of the beam web were adjusted respectively to analyze their influence on the moment-rotation curve.The results show that with the increase of the bending moment, characteristics of the moment-rotation curve turn from linear into nonlinear and the stiffness of the connections reduce gradually; the thickness of the end-plate and the ratio of the height to thickness of beam web have a significant impact on the initial stiffness and bending capacity of connections. This paper presents a fabricating procedure by controlling parameters of sinusoidal corrugated web required for the given steel arch.A simplified finite element model is proposed to analyze the force, deformation of the steel arch with sinusoidal corrugated web. Comparison of material cost consumption between flat web and sinusoidal corrugated web is drawn, which reveals steel arch with sinusoidal corrugated web has excellent economic benefits.
