Ltd.Tianjin 300459 China) Abstract:Haihe River Tunnel project used immersed tube method.The immersed tube was divided into three segments and each segment was a rectangle box-shaped structure with two holes and three galleries. The immersed tubes were fabricated in dry dock.This paper introduces the construction technology for prefabrication of immersed tubes including the fabrication of the tube floating layer design installation and demolition of tube formwork quality control for immersed tube concrete fabrication and installation of end steel case polyurea waterproofing.According to the method described the sinking of all immersed tubes as well as their connections were pleted successfully and no leakage were observed at the bottom lateral walls and roof of the immersed tubes.
