Preface

This Standard was prepared by the Australian members of Joint Standards Australia/Standards NewZealand Committee WS-001 Water Fittings to supersede AS/NZS 3499:2006.

Zealand decided to develop this document as an Australian Standard rather than an Australian/New Zealand Standard.

The objective of this document is to specify requirements for flexible hose assemblies for use withfor applications above ground and accessble.Nominal sizes range up to DN50 amaximumlength of bothheated waterand coldwater supplies withamaximum heated watertemperature of90°Cused10m and with an allowable operating pressure of 1400 kPafor sizes up to and including DN25 andprogressively lower pressures for increasingly larger diameters
