前言
本标准按照GB/T1.1-2009给出的规则起草.
本标准代替GB/T20850-2007（机械安全机械安全标准的理解和使用指南》，与GB/T208502007相比，除编辑性修改外主要技术修改见附录E.
本标准由全国机械安全标准化技术委员会（SAC/TC208）提出并归口.
本标准起草单位：如皋市包装食品机械有限公司、南京林业大学光机电仪工程研究所、金陵科技学院、中机生产力促进中心、深圳市华测检测有限公司、广西柳工机械股份有限公司.
本标准主要起草人：史传民、居荣华、杨忠、李勤、刘泽华、黄中良、刘治永、赵茂成、陈能玉、宁燕、王学智、宋小宁、程红兵、张晓飞、付卉青.
机械安全机械安全标准的理解和使用指南
1范围
本标准规定了机械安全各相关标准的提網性内容.
本标准可为机械及相关设备的设计者和制造商提供帮助，特别是在缺少特定C类标准的情况下，能帮助设计者和制造商正确理解相关的机械安全标准.
注：本标准不涉及C类标准的内容.
2机械安全标准的分类
2.1A类标准（基础安全标准）
给出适用于机械的基本概念、设计原则和一般特征，相关标准见表1.

2.2B类标准（通用安全标准）
B1类，特定的安全特征（如安全距离、表面湿度和噪声）标准. -B2类，安全装置（如双手操纵装置、联锁装置、压敏保护装置和防护装置）标准.相关标准见表2.
涉及机械的一种安全特征或使用范围较宽的一类安全装置分为以下两类：
