The UK participation in its preparation was entrusted to Technical Committee B/517/1 Concrete production and testing. A list of organizations represented on this mittee can be obtained on request to its secretary. The UK mittee has identified that EN 12390-7 Testing hardened concrete-Part 7:Density of hardened concrete which is listed in the bibliography of EN 12504-1:2019 should be listed in the normative references section Clause 2. It is the opinion of the UK mittee that it is likely that the standard was not listed as a normative reference because Subclause 7.2 mistakenly refers to EN 12390-5 where it should refer to EN 12390-7 because EN 12390-7 is the test method for testing density of hardened concrete and density is the property that is being referred to. The UK mittee also draws users'attention to informative National Annex NA appended at the back of this document which offers guidance on the use of BS EN 12504-1:2019.
